MOVEMBER MOTIVATION

It seems like everyone has a support group these days, or foundation, or a month dedicated to them. But the husbands, brothers, sons, fathers, grandfathers, boyfriends, and comrades you toil with everyday seem to get short shrift. Where is their month? You might well ask. Where is their colored ribbon? Well, look no further than Movember. Started by some quirky blokes out of Australia in 2003, this event has become an international MOVEment, pardon the pun, as men all over the world begin November clean shaven and grow moustaches to raise money and awareness for men's health issues, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiatives. Last year some 854,288 people participated, across 14 countries, raising approximately $126.4 million. As a purveyor of luxury men's boxer shorts, protecting the family jewels in style and comfort is something near and dear to our hearts. So we are helping to spread the word, and raise some funds for Movember.
